シンガーソングライター

奥山みなこ(Vo)シンガーソングライター。レゲエバンド「Reggae Disco Rockers」の元メインボーカル。その後さまざまなアーティストとのコラボレーションを経て、２００４年ソロデビュー。１ｓｔ..ミニアルバム「MUCH LOVE」からは、「花のように」が某ホテルのCMソングに起用。さわやかな歌声と豊かなソングライティングで一躍注目を集めた。翌２００５年にはフルアルバム「ONE by ONE」をリリース。全国でライブを展開しファンを増やす一方、他アーティストへの楽曲提供を始め話題となる。以降、ソロを中心に活動しているが、２００６年よりAzooにも参加。オリジナル曲の提供など創作活動に意欲的に取り組んでおり、さらに幅を広げたいと希望を抱いている。

Vocalist and Songwriter. Minako used to join to the reggae band 'Reggae Disco Rockers', then had played with variety of musicians, before she made her debut as a solo singer in 2004. From her first debut single entitled 'MUCH LOVE', 'Ha-na-no yo-u-ni (means 'like as Flower')' was used for the T.V commercial for a certain hotel in Japan. Minako's mellow voice and song-writing was really new and refreshing to the audience. In 2005, she released a full-album entitled 'ONE by ONE', and began performing at many places. And also she began offering some original tunes to the other singers for recording, which made her much more famous in Japanese music scene. Continuing her solo career in music, she decided to join to the new band project named 'Azoo' in 2006. This was a new opportunity to collaborate with other jazz musicians, which made her more eager to expand her musical ability. Minako wrote a lot of fantastic tunes to 'Azoo', Through these working, she obviously got a great confidence,

ピアノ・作編曲家

納谷嘉彦(p)秋田県能代市出身。７８年「第一回日本ジャズグランプリ」にて「最優秀ソロイスト賞」を受賞後、８２年「BEBOP　82」でメジャーデビュー。以降、五十嵐一生、日野皓正のグループ等で活躍し、一方で後進の育成にも力をいれ寺井尚子が師事したことでも知られる。最近では人気ボーカリスト小林桂のアルバム「JUST YOU」にアレンジを提供、またマユミ・ローのアルバム「It's my love」のアレンジ・プロデュースを担当したりと、制作面での才能も大いに発揮。現在では『納谷嘉彦SAMURAIビバップ』を中心に『大坂昌彦グループ』『Z's』『大隅寿男３』『小林桂スーパーバンド』などJazz界で活躍する一方、JazzにPopsを融合させたノンジャンルのサウンドを求めて俵山昌之（ｂ）と「Azoo＆奥山みなこ」を結成。音楽界に新鮮な風を吹き込んでいる。

Yoshihiko Naya is the one of the famous piano player in Jazz. In 1978, Yoshihiko won the first prize at the "Japan Jazz Grand prix", then he recorded the first debut album entitled "BEBUP 82" from the major level. And he got started to play with so many Jazz giants like Naoko Terai, Itssei Igarashi, Teru Hino and so forth. In recent days, he offered his arrengement to Kei Kobayashi in his recording "Just You", And also he took a role in the album of Mayumi .L's "It's my love" as the producer and the pianist. Now he is working in the regular band like "Osaka Masahiko Gruop"and "Naya Yoshihiko Samurai Bebup". His sense of piano based on the Jazz history itself, but he thinks much of his nationality, composing a lot of tunes which melody is coming from Japanese traditional song. Yoshihiko has a really deep expression, easily make people feel happy, funky, aggressive or sad. The piano is "Yoshihiko" himself.

ベース・作編曲家

俵山昌之(b)１９歳よりベースをはじめ、２６歳の時に「益田幹夫（P)トリオ」で初レコーディング。以降、確かな技術と豊かな表現力が評価され、数え切れないほどのミュージシャンとのライブ・レコーディングを経験する。現在は、アニメ「ルパン三世」のサウンドトラックで知られる「大野雄二」のバンドでレギュラー。また、最近では平井堅のアルバム「Fake Star」にも参加している。近年、Jazzサウンドのより一層の大衆化に力を注いでおり、納谷嘉彦と意気投合し当バンドを結成した。オリジナル曲の創作にも精力的に取り組み、親しみやすい作風でたくさんのファンを得ている。ビートルズの大ファン。

Masayuki Tawarayama is a great base player in Jazz. Start studying base at the age of 19, and his first recording 'debut' was 26. Then he has been invited to a various of recondings, live show, concerts and so forth. Now he is a regular member in several groups. The one of them is "Yuji Ono band" which is very famous of its tune for the animation entitled "Lupin The 3rd". You can hear his base sound on its T.V movie program broadcasted once in every summer. His base line is very soft and warm, so that many musicians love his sound. In recent days, Masayuki is very eager to compose his original tunes, most of them offered for 'Azoo'. He is now trying to expand his musical idea much wider.

ドラム・コーラス

藤井学(Dr)広島県福山市出身。中学生よりドラムに親しみ、名古屋での大学時代、２０歳でライブデビュー。以降、「納谷嘉彦トリオ」、「森剣治カルテット」、「和田直バンド」などでキャリアを積み上京、「滝野聡」のデビューバンドに参加する。多数のライブハウス・ラジオ番組出演の傍ら、阿川泰子のバックバンドで日本テレビ「オシャレ３０：３０」にも出演した。以降、JazzのみならずFusion、Latinなど、さまざまなジャンルに対応できるマルチドラマーとして、ミュージシャンからの厚い信頼を得ている。

Manabu Fujii is a very talented Drummer. Start drumming was his age of junior-high, then he got the first gig when he was a university sutudent in Nagoya at 20. After his 'debut', he started playing in "Naya Yoshihiko Trio", "Mori Kenji quartet", "Wada Nao band" and so forth. These band experience led him to be busy for having concerts or radio shows, especially his one of the big job was the T.V prpgram entitled "O-sha-re 30:30" on NIPPON T.V .inc. playing with 'Agawa Yasuko Band'. The following years, Manabu is recognized as the drummer who plays many genre of music like Latin, Salsa, and Jazz.. Plenty of musician loves his sound very much!!

ボイスパーカッション・コーラス

北村嘉一郎(Vo,Vper)ボーカリスト＆ボーカルドラマー。日本では数少ない声によるドラムサウンドで注目を集めている「ボイスパーカッショニスト」である。幼少よりピアノとボイスパーカッションを始め、早稲田大学教育学部入学後の９７年、プロアカペラグループである「TRY-TONE(トライトーン）」に加入、２００７年１２月まで１１年にわたり４ｔｈボーカル、ならびにボイスパーカッションとして活動した。一般的に「human beat box」系のボイスパーカッションが多い中、アコースティックなサウンドと抜群のグルーヴ感で他と一線を画し、ファンやミュージシャンから高い評価を受けている。2008年からはソロアーティストとして独立。アカペラで培われた高い技術をベースに、歌心溢れるビートと豊かなサウンドで楽器との新たなサウンド作りに取り組んでいる。一方で、大学時代に学んだ韓国語・英語を駆使して海外アーティストとの交流・演奏にも力を尽くしており、韓国でのレコーディング、コンサート出演も多数。今年度、韓国国際打楽器フェスティバル（８月）、台湾国際重唱芸術節(１０月）に演奏家・講師として招聘を受け、国際的な活動も積極的に展開している。７４年、横浜市出身。

Kaichiro Kitamura is a Singer and Voice Percussionist. He was a member of TRY-TONE, one of the popular A cappella group in Japan, quitted his career at the end of 2007. Kaichiro was born in 1974, and started playing Vocal percussion in his childhood. His percussion is a totally 'Instrumemt', not a imitation. It works well in the band. And also, he can switch his role freely in one tune, which means that he first plays 'Drums', then goes to 'percussion', and goes to 'Singing' or takes solo in 'Trombone', all the sounds come from his mouth. The audience is much amused at his unique technique. Now he is a regular member in Azoo. He has a passion for making his musical ability much wider.
